LCW questions

Please I have 2 questions;
- I am on LCW. Am I correct in assuming work preparation is 35 hrs a week?
- DWP I could do WRA even though they accepted I can't sit for more than 10 mins.
I am confused 🥲

Hi @AndrewHall, Does it say anywhere on your account what your commitments are? If not, you could perhaps ask your work coach to clarify what you're expected to do and what you can manage with your health conditions.
The LCW group still means you're not totally fit for work, so they should be a little flexible with what work related activity you're expected to do.

DWP didn't actually say what WRA I would be expected to do, and in such circumstances, I was advised by the work coach to expect anything up to 35 hrs a week.
Can I refuse if I can't do the WRA given to to me?

Hi @AndrewHall, From personal experience, once I'd discussed with my work coach what I was able to do, my WRA was set at a manageable level for me. This is of course anecdotal evidence, but they should be understanding of your conditions as you do have Limited Capability. 35 hours is a full time schedule for many, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to ask for a reduction to a more suitable level if you're not able to manage that.
Could you perhaps put a message on your journal to see what your commitments are and whether you can discuss what would be manageable for you?

IIRC the total max hrs when on LCW is 15
