I'm concerned and worried the government are using the most vulnerable as scapegoats, maybe stop investing in wars and invest in the country, they're using us to hide their failings. The cuts are concerning to cut it in half next year is too cut my bills and food supply worse than it already is. And then too scrap lcwra and move it too pip next year is going to make it impossible to live. I failed get pip with a 0 score and felt so bad haven't bothered since. To hear all this is scary and not good for mental health either.

Well done labour

A lot of stuff isn't set in stone yet, things can get watered down or binned completely.

If the WCA is scrapped and it's just PIP, they may make changes to PIP to adapt it to also being a WCA, this could mean that PIP will be easier to get.

It could be more likely that you'll be successful at a tribunal too, since the judges will know that for you everything depends on PIP, since there's no WCA anymore, and without PIP you'll be totally screwed, it's not like you'll have the LCWRA safety net to fall back on.

Hopefully the MPs see the madness in all this and we're being loud and enough to be heard.

Hi @Fibr0Warrior I completely understand why you're feeling concerned - you aren't alone. Please know this is the initial proposal, and we're entering consultation which will allow us an opportunity to respond.

It might be worth taking a look at a discussion where a lot of our members are coming together to share their concerns/questions, and support one another. This is called - The Green Paper Discussion

We'd prefer to keep the conversations regarding this all in one place, so as to protect the mental health of all on the community, so we will be closing this discussion. I hope you understand.

Also, we're actively campaigning and raising awareness through The Cost of Cuts, and we’d really appreciate your support and signature.

    Best wishes,
