My iPhone missed pip review
Hi I have a new iPhone and I checked last night and everything was turned off on it to receive calls! This morning for my review I waited by the phone patiently and 4 calls were silent and went straight to voicemail and 1 rang once and then rang off. I know it’s my fault with the iPhone but I have just tried everything and it seems to be working okay. I’m just really worried I won’t be able to get the next phone calls and I have already cancelled one because of work this will be the second one. I don’t understand within the space of about 1 minute that they have to cancel your appointment book another and you can’t ring them so you’re just really stuck with them phoning you and hoping that their phone call works. What do I do? I’m scared they’re gonna close my claim if it happens again and there’s no way of checking it won’t! Thanks

Hi @Iamclarissa bless you, why do these things always happen at the most inconvenient times! Do you have a time for your next appointment? And is it possible to test your phone a little while before with a friend or family member, by having them call you?

@lamclarissa , so sorry to hear of this annoyance at the absolutely wrong time . My iPhone has done the same with GP calls as it came from a Withheld number and finally got it sorted after my friend shifted the Silence Caller toggle on .Please give this too a try along with @Holly_Scope suggestion . Best wishes in getting this sorted!

I have had my phone checked and nothing was wrong with it! They did say in the shop though that anyone calling can send the call straight to voicemail if they wanted! This has stressed me out even more! How come every other number has got through except DWP assessor?🤷🏻

Every other phone call is working except that one assessor call! My phone was also working as I had it checked. They have not got back in touch with another assessment yet! I went to CAB and they said they would investigate what was happening and why the call did not get through! I am waiting for an email from them! I think I’m able to request another phone number to use!👍

A couple of us have had the same issue @Iamclarissa it's so frustrating! I hope it can get sorted for you asap though, the added stress is certainly not needed.
