Flower power

I was feeling rather fed up this morning and dealing with health flared up yet again then I got a knock on the door a delivery of tiny plug plants that I completely forgot I ordered in early January on a special offer deal so it was a nice surprise today seeing these tiny little plants about an inch big and knowing that they will grow in to some pretty flowers over the next few months has cheered me up as well as giving me something to focus on away from all the media yes I am struggling like everyone else and I am a novice with gardening but hopefully with a little tlc I will be able to gift a few plants to cheer up others too as the saying goes to plant a seed is to believe in tomorrow

I love that you'll give some to others, you're spreading the joy and that's so needed right now. ❤️

I totally agree I have been growing blueberries in pots for a few years and always give my elderly neighbour tub full for her freezer the more I pick the more that grow it seems kindness does not have to cost anything I am looking forward to making a nice flower display basket for her birthday in June too from my plug plants

I do love doing that, fresh, homegrown produce is the best gift. I often give friends bags of chillis and tomatoes. Perfect for making their own sauces.
