I agree with you j999 completely. I suffer from a condition called ME which makes doing everything extremely difficulty due to the exhaustion it causes and leaves me bed ridden and it took 16 months to get the PIP money. Fortunately I had people to help me out in the meantime but it was a real struggle after 6 rejections and a tribunal to finally get it but if they are making the PIP even harder now to get this worries me greatly. One reason for rejection of the benefit was "you look ok" which is ridiculous. Out of sheer necessity I have to have the benefit as I am genuinely too ill to work and without it I will have nothing to live on. The government should be ashamed they are causing this distress to people like myself and others who cannot help their disabilities.

Hi greenkitty 82 thank you for your time to get in touch l am extremely concerned that it took so long for you to get your pip it should be a immediate yes in your case and knowing the chances they are bringing in it is absolutely wrong because it means for me they are going to stop it at some point which will mean l will neither be able to get out and about which means l will be more of a burden on the tax payer due to thebfact that l will be in and out of hospital due to my mental health becoming unstable hope you have a great day j999
