Hi, my name is Raj! Can I claim any money due to cancer, also being disabled?

I had pancreatic cancer & surgery was done December 2024.
I have decided NOT to go ahead for chemotherapy treatment
All my cancer was removed & so far has not spread to any other lymph modes.
I am being monitored ever 3 monthly.
I have been having pain on the left side of my chest.
I am taking too many meds.
Can I claim any money due to cancer, also being disabled
Regards
Raj

Hey there @Raj and welcome to the community.
I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, I know how hard that can be and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for nothing coming back.
With regard to benefits, you can use a benefits calculator here which will help. But PIP will only be an auto-accept if the diagnosis is terminal.0 -
Hi @Raj , Welcome to this warm and supportive Scope community. I’m truly sorry to hear about everything you’ve been through with pancreatic cancer and the challenges of being disabled. That’s an incredibly tough journey, and my thoughts are with you.
I hope you’re able to access the benefits you rightfully deserve during this critical time, as @Albus_Scope has advised. No one should have to navigate this alone, especially while recovering and managing Chest pain. If you need any support or guidance along the way, this community is always here for you 😊
Wishing you strength, comfort, and brighter days ahead. You are not alone in this. 🙏🏽
