Ice skating and cerebral palsy

Evie's Ice Skating Journey: Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month
As part of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, we're delighted to share Evie's ice skating journey! ⛸️
Ice skating has given Evie the opportunity to do a sport which we never thought possible. Evie has gained confidence and the ability to push herself and improve at every session. It has also helped Evie physically as it has improved her posture, her leg strength and overall core strength and balance.
Seeing the smile and joy it brings has also given us something to do as a family as we now attend public sessions with Evie and her brothers too.
The coaches Freya and McKenzie make her feel great and can accomplish anything.
When asked about ice skating Evie says:
“I love ice skating, it’s my favourite.”
