Hi @martiny13uk, welcome to the community. It would probably be best to notify the DWP so that they are aware of what's going on. If your grandson is no longer living with your ex-son-in-law then he should not be receiving money for him. You may want to ring the helpline to see if they have any further advice on what to do next:

Says she's already spoken to them 12 weeks ago.. and again today now they asking her to get proof that her son is back with her and won’t stop the payments
