As our final post for sleep week, we are going to look at signposting and services available to help families caring for disabled children.

Specialist Help with Sleep

  • Cerebra has free sleep service and offer individual support for parents of disabled children with sleep challenges
  • Some NHS trusts have sleep specialists and you can ask your GP or paediatrician for a referral
  • Occupational therapists can provide strategies and assess sensory needs at bedtime
