Changes to DLA

Hi,
My daughter is 11 and has ASD and ADHD - medicated. When we applied for DLA she was awarded middle rate care in 2019 - at this point she was only diagnosed with asd. Since then she has had an ADHD diagnosis and has had 4 increases in her ADHD medication. I have not told DWP for about the changes because - to be honest - I forgot. She is due to have it renewed in December. Will I be told off for not saying the changes? Will the new diagnosis and medication (albeit not new for us) changes things? I have looked over the form and she is still needing lots of support to be safe and for personal cleanliness.
Thanks in advance

Hi @LucyLou221 - you would only need to report a change if the level of help your daughter needs has changed, which doesn't seem to be the case.
When her DLA is reviewed, just mention her ADHD diagnosis & the current level of medication she takes. Usually a new diagnosis or a change in medication wouldn't really change things, it's the level of help she needs & whether it's during the day or also at night.
