I am my daughter appointee for universal credits, she has limited capability for work, sensory processing skills, communication difficulties and hypermobility. She is at university. I have just been through a review with enhanced review team which impacted greatly with my daughters relationship. I originally received a compliance review which was taken over by the enhanced review team and was told by the agent that she couldn't really understand the need for the review but in the end I was informed all was OK. Now around a month later we have got another compliance to do with capital data match. Apparently this is from the compliance team who initially wanted to do the review but it was then taken over by enhanced review. I do not have access to the bank statements. However, I do get a notification from her bank to provide weekly balance and last 5 transactions. I can't really cope with this situation as I have my own mental and physical health issues and my relationship with my daughter is very fagile. She has has several PA, support workers and specialist mentors in place but feels betrayed if they pass any information to myself and cuts of contact with them as she doesn't want me controlling nor invading her life. Has anyone been through this and can offer any advise. I have not seen excess capital on her statement balance but she does received large lumps sums from student finance, disabled students allowance and gets her pip. She owes tens of thousands in Student finance but I am sure that they aren't interested in that.

Hi @Starhero I'm really sorry for the time it's taken to hear back. I haven't been through this myself, but can completely sympathise with you both. It must be incredibly tough for you and I expect these reviews and multiple recent contacts have just heightened the emotions and stress. Have things eased a bit now?

We decided to close her claim which stopped the compliance. Fortunately she has now got employment!

Thanks for conforming @Starhero. I hope the relationship is a bit better for you both now.
