When you start the tribunal process do you need to provide all the paper work or do they get it from the DWP?? Also can you provide extra paperwork towards the tribunal?

    The DWP will send all paperwork for the tribunal and to you. You can add extra evidence.

    Hi @Thomo. So, DWP should pass on any evidence you’ve provided them to the courts so you shouldn't have to send this with the appeal form however it might be worth having a read through this Citizen's advice page on tribunals as it has some helpful tips on the appeal form etc. - Appeal against a Universal Credit decision - Citizens Advice

    I have read the link - If I lose the Tribunal do I lose the award I have already been given and have to reapply for PIP??

    Hi @Thomo so the Tribunal, (like the Mandatory Reconsideration), does look at your full claim. I don't know the details of your award, but if you've been awarded part already it doesn't necessarily mean that part will be cancelled. I hope I've explained that ok. 😅

    Hi @Thomo - if you already have an award, then if the Tribunal think they would lower/remove this, then they will warn you beforehand, or on the day, & hopefully & sensibly you'd then decide not to proceed. You'd then go back to your current award without losing anything.
