PIP review extensions

hi, Ive been given a two week extension for my pip review form but really need more time. By the time the form arrived a week had already gone and it now says allow 10 days for posting as well.
If I ask for another extension how likely is it I will get one? I’m just really ill so it takes ages to do anything and the heat has wiped out days too
I also noticed it says not to send it signed for or special delivery because it might take longer to get to them, I have always done this since an MR went missing a few years ago. Any thoughts on this?
thanks

You get a month to fill out the form, so I gather you have asked for an extension due to being to ill.
The DWP normally give a two week extension. You can ask for another, I have read about PIP claimants asking for and getting a second extension. You can't help it if you are to ill to fill out the form. Contact PIP before the current two week extension comes to an end if possible. Some in your situation just write "no change" on the form to save a lot of form filling and send it back, please do not do this, it may not help your review. Still fill out the form in detail and give real world examples too, how you struggle with your disabilities per descriptor. Best of luck and reply if you need to!

I sent my last PIP review form and MR by special delivery. The man in the post office commented on how many of these forms ‘get lost’ and that I was doing the right thing. At least then I had proof of delivery the next day.
I know some people say it’s a waste of money and you only need a proof of posting receipt but the turn around time for getting forms back to them isn’t nearly enough otherwise.

hi I had to ring and speak to my case manager and ask for a six week extension as I was waiting on an appointment for CAB to help me fill out the form because I couldn’t
Hopefully they’ll let you have a little longer . I also took photos of the form I sent back and got it recorded and sign for as I didn’t get a text to say they’d received it last time when they did. And I didn’t want to lose everything that took me so long to find and do
