Hi, my name is Jojo999! Had to cancel my care allowance. Will I have to move to UC?

Hi I'm new on here and frighten I'm termally I'll and my carer who claims care alliance has been letting me down for 6 weeks, I have to cancel care allowance because I'm sick of being took for granted but I'm scared because I'm on high rate of pip and on employment and support allowance income related will I have to go on ic and does anyone know how much I will get I would love a bit of advice as I can't have my carer keep having the care allowance when he's not doing what he should be doing please help thanku

I also would like to know if anyone knows where I could get a free iPad or tablet because I'm bed bound a lot and cannot afford to buy on .if any one could give me any advice I would really appreciate it x

You won't have to move to UC due to cancelling Carers Allowance.
However migration letters are going out up until September so it might not be much longer now anyway.
Some people are better off on UC.
If your UC award is lower than legacy benefits, Transitional Protection will be added to claim. This makes sure you aren't worse off at the time of transfer. TP does reduce over time as other elements go up or new elements are added to your award.
