Hi, my name is Simone909! Questions about carer's allowance and assessment periods, can anyone help?

I have recently been advised by UC that by reporting my child is no longer on education during an assessment period means I will not get the two weeks for them even though they didn't leave school until half way through the assessment period. Can anyone tell me if this rule is the same when reporting you are no longer receiving Carer’s Allowance? If it ends halfway through the assessment period, will I still have deductions from UC for what I would have got from CA for the entire period or would it just for the couple of weeks I received CA?

Hi,
Universal Credit is calculated in complete assessment periods only.
Carers Allowance is calculated by the week.
UC deductions should only be for the amount you actually receive from CA during that AP.
