Mandatory reconsideration
hi
Can anyone give me any advice how to do the mandatory reconsideration. I only scored 7 points and what they wrote was not what I said in that conversation they wrote it the way the worded it themselves even with my depression and anxiety because of past trauma I went through that has now leaded to acrophobia they put lack of motivation I thought was Abit rude because I don’t want to feel like this every day and I hardly go out only to hospital appointments if I do I have to be with someone and I can’t go out on my own and they said I could go out alone it’s confusing I wish I recorded it now. Also I have a consultant for my stomach issues and they wrote I have no consultant etc but it’s all in my gp notes the bit that really upset me was them saying overwhelming psychological related symptoms not met how would they know I’m on medication for anxiety and depression I’m getting therapy for acrophobia and I’m getting testing done with my consultant for my stomach I just feel upset as I said everything that I said and they are acting as if I’m lieing. I’m going to appeal but need some help how I go about it as it’s my first pip application. Thank you :)

It is upsetting, but try not to take it personally.
I'd recommend going through the report and detailing (without emotions) how what you said was misrepresented, and link it to any evidence.
Focus on where you think you should of scored points, and explain why.
Include real world examples of what happens when you attempt the activities etc.
If you'd like help from local welfare rights:

In general for PIP unless you can do an activity reliably, repeatedly, safely, to a reasonable standard and in a timely manner for more than 51% of the time, you are treated as unable to do the activity.

It is nothing personal, it happens a lot. Take note of Kimi and - Progress your Mandatory Reconsideration in writing as if you call about your Mandatory Reconsideration PIP may progress it over the phone and you don't know if what you have said has been taken down properly. Complete the Mandatory Reconsideration looking at the descriptors and write down where you should have got points or extra points, detailing your struggles per descriptor.

In addition, you can detail what actually happened when you tried to progress a task in question.
