Assessment
hi
Had my phone assessment yesterday morning, lasted hour and a half!
Got text 1 hour later to say
“The health professional has sent us their report, allow 2-6 weeks
I know she said she was typing as questions were being answered, is that quick to send it off, good/bad
I know Dwp sent questionare month before , sent/logged to emr
thanks

Hard to say, other members have had a quick return of their assessment report to the DWP and been successful. The Assessor would be writing or typing your answers, a typist can type very quickly. How did you think the assessment went? How do you feel? You can ask for a copy of the assessment report too.

thanks, yes they was typing as it was going on
the lady was a different one than the one who call day before to let me know who it would be, don’t know why the changeThere was a lot of if I could do this questions, hypothetical questions, stuck with my original answers, not give hypothetical answers get caught out!
Asked how long to get to a toilet, to my car, how do I get in it, fastening seat belt, how far to go from car etc, I know they ask things, like how longs piece of string! No correct answer for everyone, even communicating on call makes you feel arkward, like your ok
Have to talk as it’s a call for assessment which you need
She seemed nice, could of been to relax me, and catch me out with these
At times understanding, my sister was with me, she said she could speak if wanted
Asked for toilet break after hour, she was fine take your time, came back asked if ok to carry on
Wasn’t to pushy, and listened
Kinda mixed feelings about call
Just need to wait, may call and ask for report
Many thanks

Sounds like it went well, hope you are successful. You can call PIP for the decision but they don't always tell you.

Hi ste_r
Had my phone call 3 weeks ago two half hours asking pretty much the same question a different way then at the end rushed off saying they had other people to call as if it was my fault it took so long.
I really felt the pressure and think I might lose it
I also had the text with in an hour saying it was complete and I should know the result in 6 weeks.
Then last Thursday got another text saying a discission had been made and I should have a letter with the result with in two weeks. This is my first review but when I applied I got a phone call to give me the discission so really think I have failed to reclaim it.
Good luck with your review

Hi
Know how you feel
Feel like your rushed even though it’s longwinded, my last one 3 yrs ago said I communicated well!
Course I did, and t was a call, had to talk, had to take call, like this time, got letter, text, call to say I would have call, had to take call as it’s pip
Had forms notes ready etc, my sister was with me
Felt like they was swerving the forms, asking if /hypothetical questions!
What If I said, is there cure for me tomorrow, won lottery!
Answer quickly, your clever, slowly your pretending, that’s how I felt
Just gotta hope all goes well, gotta wait 2-6 weeks as they say
Fingers crossed, keep us updated and I’ll do same, good luck
