hi. I am looking for work. My question is if I use access to work to help with transport costs would they expect me to use my pip money to cover these costs? Thabks

    Generally no, receiving PIP does not automatically mean you must use your PIP to pay for transport before Access to Work will help.

    That said, when assessing a transport support application, Access to Work will usually look at your circumstances and may consider what transport options are available to you. The award is based on your work-related needs rather than simply whether you receive PIP.
