Hi, my name is TheFibroMum
I have started a Facebook social media page on living with fibromyalgia and being a mother ♥️
I have hypermobility spectrum disorder as well. I use a power chair.
We are hoping to adopt a second child after having our birth son. I want to show people you can be disabled, have a dynamic disability and still parent with capacity despite having an energy limiting illness. I want to highlight the discrimination we face whilst. I'm fighting the Pip system and I'm fighting to my mandatory review won!

Welcome to the community @TheFibroMum ☺️
Disabled people can be fantastic, empathetic parents and it's lovely that you're sharing that message to the wider world. I'm sure your son is lucky to have you as his mum.
Have you started the adoption process already, or is it something you're hoping to do in the future?
