Hi everyone,
I am a new member of the group and I think I originally posted this in the wrong place. At present I am living in Grand Cayman with my husband. I am originally from the UK and all my family are back home. Recently My brother, who has Cerebral Palsy, visited us, and what a time we had. It was fantastic!! Off the back of that I have wrote a blog/article about his visit and what Grand Cayman is like for a traveller with a disability (and of course his companions). I am now wondering if anyone had any ideas of where I can put this. Or indeed if you would like to see it. It is quite long. Would here be a good place? Would anyone be interested?

Hi @lindsaygarwood ,
Welcome to the community. I'm fairly new on here too. I would love to read what you have written and the experiences of your brother and family of travelling with a disability. I myself live with cerebral palsy and always wanted to visit an island like Grand Cayman!
Maybe you could just share the link here I'm sure that would be fine.
Also if you require any advice or help while on here don't hesitate to give one of us a shout

Hi @lindsaygarwood and welcome to the Community. It is nice to meet you and lovely to hear that you had such a great time recently with your brother when he visited. Yes, members would love to read your blog/article about your brother's visit and Grand Caymen. It sounds lovely there!
Thank you for offering to share this piece with us.
As @humble_rumble has said, I'm sure that sharing your blog here would be fine. However, some members also write guest blogs on the Community and they can do this by emailing the community team - community@scope.org.uk or some people share also by starting a new discussion. It is whichever way you prefer.
I will tag in @Adrian_Scope and @Chloe_Scope, who are part of the Community Online Team, so that they can look out for your post and if need be, they can advise or move your blog to the relevant section. I hope this helps, but thanks again for wishing to contribute. All the best. @Ails

Hi @lindsaygarwood
Great to meet you! My family believed that travel was the best education so I have been lucky enough to travel the world. I have continued this with my own family. Would love to help if I can.

Hi @lindsaygarwood
I have just read your piece via the link that you have shared and I am seriously impressed. I have the same type of CP as your brother so any information, particularly about toilet access is great. Forewarned is forearmed

Hi @Richard_Scope. You have seriously made my day. I thank you not only for taking the time to read my piece but also your kind words on it. The fact that one person, you, have found it useful makes all the effort and time I took compiling it all worth it. I am trying to think of other forums for it to spread the word even further. If you have any other thoughts I would be truly grateful. Thank you again.0

You could contact Euan's Guide? I'm seriously considering Grand Caymen!0

Ooh great I will look at that.
Its a fabulous place. When would you want to go? We are actually leaving here and we are moving to Canada in September otherwise I could have helped you out. That said if you do decide and want further advice i would be more than happy to help.1
