This year, to coincide with cerebral palsy (CP) awareness month in March, Scope is developing a new special interest group specifically to engage with people with an interest in Cerebral Palsy. Scope will host regular meet-ups for the group. These may include presentations and discussions on a range of topics relevant to the Cerebral Palsy community. We also hope to engage with the group’s lived experience to inform future work within Scope.
Founding members
We are recruiting founding members to support and shape the group. You will be asked to draw upon your lived experience to:
- shape the types and topics of meet-ups you would like to attend
make suggestions on how to deliver these to be inclusive of everyone in the Cerebral Palsy community
provide insight into how we engage with the wider Cerebral Palsy community
The meet-ups will take place via Zoom initially.
In addition to the meet-ups, you will receive email updates on project progress which you will be asked to feedback on.
The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, 3 March 2021
Next Steps
If you are interested in becoming a founding member please email Richard.Luke@scope.org.uk by Sunday, 23 February 2021
