Hi there

The assessment report is only recommendations and not the decision

You need to wait for your award letter

The decision maker does in most cases go with the report and if they do in your case then yes you would be awarded standard rate for both elements

Hello and welcome to the community @jaywat

I can see that you've already received some helpful replies above. As the others have said, a score between 8-11 indicates an award of standard rate. However, you'll have to wait until you get your award decision letter to have this confirmed.

Just to let you know, I've moved your post into our PIP category and renamed it so that others can find it more easily.

Where is the pip category?

Cher_Alumni

@jaywat Good luck for the outcome, if you could keep us updated that'd be fab. Also, you've posted in our PIP category but that's a link straight to it, should you ever need it

Hi @jaywat - & welcome to the community from me too, Jay. Here's hoping the decision maker goes along with the assessor's report (which they usually do).

jaywat

I'm not clear what you are asking. If you mean information about how PIP is scored you may find this helpful https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/personal-independence-payment-pip/pip-points-system

jaywat

No the lady moved my question to the pip category I didn't know where it was lol

Tori moved Jay's post into the PIP category here on Scope, so they were just asking about this.
