I have been awarded lcwra and I believe I am entitled to a back payment. Does anyone know when I will receive my backpayment. I’ll leave details below.
I submitted my first fit note on 15th may 2021.
I was referred for the capability for work assessment on the 15th June.
I was referred for the capability for work assessment on the 15th June.
My assessment period is from the 10th of the month to the 9th of the following month.
September will be my 4th full assessment period since first putting in the sick note.
Will I be backdated to when I was referred for the assessment or the date I submitted the first fit note (15th may)
thank you for your help I’m so confused.

HI,The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods, with payment on the 4th month. If you reported your health condition on the same date you sent your fit note then your first payment will be October because the May assessment period won't count, as it's not a full AP.If you reported your health condition at the start of the May assessment period (10th) then your first payment will be September.Either way, you're not owed any backdated money.0

Hi @leonashleymillar and a warm welcome to our community, how are you today?
Just to let you know, I've moved your thread to our Universal Credit category and amended the title to make your question more visible to others.
I can see @poppy123456 has helpfully offered advice about your back payment eligibility but if you remain unsure about anything, please ask away.
Take care and have a lovely rest of the day.0
