    Hello @gemzy1979

Welcome to the community, I hope you are well and having a nice weekend.

This is a very supportive and welcoming community so I'm sure you'll enjoy taking part, if you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask.

I have moved your discussion over to our PIP category which has a lot of discussions that you might be interested in having a read through in case of any similar circumstances to yours.

Just to clarify, you received a letter that stated that a decision has been made, but it didn't give any more information as to what the decision is?

Letters can take more than 7 days to arrive.

I didn’t think they sent letters to say a decision had been made and then say another letter is on the way.

    I was puzzled by that.

Do you mean the first letter you received was saying "they have all the information needed to make a decision"
If successfully awarded, money usually goes into the bank before you receive the decision letter. Unless you're transferring from DLA.
