Hiya, I have been providing fit notes since beginning of February and filled out a form I was asked to regarding lwc beginning of march. I haven’t heard anything back so far. I haven’t been asked for an assessment etc. Does anyone have any knowledge as to how long things can take or their own experience’s etc? It’s making me very anxious not knowing anything. Thank you in advance. I have spent hours trying to find the answers I am looking For before posting.

Duplicate thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/94666/lwc-lwcra#latest the timescale i gave you is based on many other threads here. You're welcome to have a look through the various other threads to see for yourself.Last year my daughter waited 6 months but backlogs have increased quite a lot since then.

I know it’s a duplicate thread, because you told me I posted in the wrong place. I’m just asking for other peoples experiences and the waits they have had before having their assessments for some peace of mind if that’s ok? I have read through numerous other threads for months and haven’t been able to find what I am looking for hence the reason I decided to post myself.

What i meant was for you to have a look at other threads in this section. I realise that you're anxiety is affected by all this waiting but you're not going to find the exact answer you're looking.Backlogs will be different in all areas and timescales will only ever be a guide and nothing more.As you may have seen with other threads, some wait a few months, some wait several and others wait more than a year.0
