Hiya, I have been providing fit notes since beginning of February and filled out a form I was asked to regarding lwc beginning of march. I haven’t heard anything back so far. I haven’t been asked for an assessment etc. Does anyone have any knowledge as to how long things can take etc? It’s making me very anxious not
knowing anything. Thank you in advance. I have spent hours trying to find the answers I am looking For before posting.

You will very likely need a work capability assessment which will either be by telephone, face to face ro video call. There are long delays in a lot of areas and some are waiting in excess of several months. Once an appointment becomes available you will be contacted.

    That’s what I am
wondering, how long it could take to receive an invitation for an assessment.

As i advised, there are very long waiting times in a lot of areas. I can't tell you when you'll receive an appointment, im afraid. All you can do is wait.

I’m aware no one can telle
specific time scales. I was more asking for other peoples experiences etc if similar to mine so maybe I can get a
picture of what to expect or understand things more.

You've posted in the PIP section. There's lots of threads in the UC section here https://forum.scope.org.uk/categories/universal-credit
