Is LCWRA reviews still suspended?

    There has been a couple of members that have said they have started back up but I can’t find anything that confirms this.

    @poppy123456. I tried to look through posts on here. I only found one person talking about ESA review. Do you have reliable source,?

    @poppy123456 but who said they were suspended anyway? I know u often said it to people on here. Do DWP or UC post this info somewhere?

    UC is part of DWP and it was DWP who suspended them because of backlogs of those waiting for their first assessment. They were suspended since just after the start of the pandemic. (unless you received the form before they were suspended) which i did.

    I have no opinion. As I advised, I can’t find anything that suggests they have started back up. 
    I claim ESA myself and my last review was just after the first lockdown. For me, I try not to think about it until the form comes through the letter box. We get no warning of the review either. At least when claiming UC you get a letter on your journal telling you that they are referring you and shortly after you receive the form.

    I was the person that posted about ESA reviews starting up. I don't know about UC but ESA definitely has. I received my ESA50 review form over a week ago and sent it back. What I've been told by the DWP is that they were only processing about 5% of reviews to focus on new claims but they were still happening,they are focusing on people that have not had a review in a long time. Unless you been waiting more than 5-6 years for a review they are not bothering. My last review was 5 half years ago.

    @KerryBemmy thanks for info. I got my LCWRA 2yrs ago. That's why I was wondering and reading posts.

    If you only been waiting 2 years you should be fine for now.

    no i have a neighbour who works for the DWP they said reviews are still happening
