So my mum was entitled to a budgeting loan every year and she always got one just before xmas stop help with my sisters presents. She’s been moved to new style esa and isn’t entitled to it anymore. Is there nothing else she can get? She’s on PIP also. Not on UC.

No one can be "moved to New style ESA." Budgeting loans are not available when claiming this. What benefits exactly was she claiming before the ESA?Has she checked entitlement to UC?0

You mean Income Related ESA? You can't move to New style ESA from this. She could be claiming the old contributions based ESA if her ESA was a combination of both Income Related and contributions based and she was no longer entitled to the Income Related top up.In a previous thread you said she was receiving £235/fortnight. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/98652/esa#latestWhen did her ESA claim start? Does she have savings of more than £6,000 or does she receive any pension?

alunbb6 said:How to get the Xmas fundingDo you mean the £10 Christmas bonus? If so then you need to be claiming certain benefits, if you do then it's automatically paid sometime during this month. https://www.gov.uk/christmas-bonus/eligibilityIf this is not what you mean then i'm sorry but i have no idea what you mean by "Xmas funding"
