My mum gets esa, 235 per fortnight. She is in the support group esa. Is universal credit included in this payment? Or can she apply?

That amount is either contributions based or New style ESA. If her ESA claim started after Dec 2018 then it will very likely be New style. Universal Credit a completey different benefit, whether she qualifies will depend on her circumstances because it's a means tested benefit.First thing she needs to do is check what her ESA claim is.0
