Hello, could I please have some advice regarding Universal Credit/ LCWRA entitlement.
I have been signed off work since 25th August. I have had a Fit/sick note without gaps since. I had a WCA 25th November, received my letter on Friday 9th December to confirm I have been placed in LCWRA group.
When will I be paid my 1st payment, will this be back dated to 1st sick note provided? Or is this 3 months from assessment decision?

My payment date is 25th of every month.

Many thanks in advance.

Your first payment will be Jan

You 3 waiting assessment period are Sept to Oct then Oct to Nov and Nov to Dec first period entitled is Dec to Jan paid in Jan payment

This is because your fit note will not have covered whole Aug assessment period due to date

There is no back pay due

Thank you very much for your reply.

Sorry, I have no clue about any of this -  What's the reason for no back payment? I assumed from previous posts on here I checked that I would receive back payment from when my health condition was 1st reported to UC in August?

Also, how long will I be entitled to the LCWRA element? Is it temporary? I can't find any specific advice online, but saw something that stated you can only claim it for 3 months? X

You don't get paid for the first 3 full assessment periods at all these are waiting periods

Payment starts on the 4th full assessment period after reporting your medical condition

Lcwra is an ongoing payment with no specific end date you will be reassessed at sometime zanything from 3 months after being awarded bug most are not reassessed for couple of years and currently reassessment are suspended so I wouldn't expect this anytime soon

Your payments will continue until a decision is made on a reassessment and will only stop if you don't get awarded lcwra again

That's not what other posts suggest here, you have misunderstood them. LCWRA starts from when you reported your health condition. However, the LCWRA isn't paid at all during the waiting period.
If you were receiving any earnings from working and you didn't previously have the work allowance you maybe owed some money from this.
