Hello my pip award is due to end in February 2023. Back in June I sent them pip2 ( review form, not sure how it's called) and haven't heard anything apart from today out of the blue phonecall from pip. The lady on the phone only asked if nothing has changed as I put on the form back in June. Also the reason she is calling me is to save time going to the centre. I said that it's correct. She only asked if I get better help or am planning on to. Anyway, she only said that this is nothing to worry,my award won't stop if anything it might go up. They will send letter confirming it. That was it 6 minutes phonecall, I read on here people had an hour long calls etc. Does it mean they will call me for face to face anyway,or she was telling the truth? Thank you for advice guys.

It sounds like it was a decision maker that rang you and not the health assessment providers. When you have a review and you return your forms they are first sent to a decision maker who will then look through them and decide if a decision can be made without sending your file to the assessment providers.
If they have some questions to ask they may even ring you but they wouldn't usually let you know that they are going to do this.
All you need to do now is wait for the decision letter as they advised.

I would have thought it was a DWP decision maker. The health assessment providers don't make decisions. If it was a HCP then a report will be written and returned to DWP and once it's received a decision can take between 2-12 weeks.

@poppy123456 hello. Today I received pip letter regarding my assessment over the phone two weeks ago. Which was on or around 15th December. The letter says " I can still award you standard rate . You can now get this amount from 15 December 2022 to 28 January 2023 "

So did they give me award only for 6 weeks? My original award was ending on 28 January 2023. So what was the point of this phonecall. When am I going to receive another pip2 form in order to extend it?
