Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024


Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.

While we understand that this period will see many passionate discussions and do not want to discourage open discussion, we cannot allow discussions which are purely intended to influence voting.

I've just rung for my assement report and the lady said until I receive my decision  letter I can't contest anything is this a normal response only had my assessment 11th January

    That is correct, a decision hasn't been made. Although, once you receive your assessment report, if something needs to be clarified, you can call / write to them to see if they will accept your clarification.

    Don't forget, if your award gets declined, then you have Mandatory Reconsideration and Appeal.
