ESA assessment

I have an assessment due in June for ESA support group. As I’m sure most can relate to the period leading up to waiting for the form to drop can be quite stressful. Last time I was given 2 year rollover due to Covid. I’ve seen in some places it mentioned that assessments haven’t restarted since Covid ? Is this correct ? And if so is there any indication when they might restart or might I get lucky and get another 2 year rollover ? I do have a long term condition so my situation is pretty identical to my last assessment.

You're correct, WCA reviews are still suspended and it's unlikely they will restart anytime soon. Support Group is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise, it has no end date. When they do restart there will be huge backlogs so it won't be anytime soon.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Thanks for that Poppy. Would you know when they do restart would it be announced somewhere ?

I have no idea but i'm sure we'll hear about it from someone or some where.
