Good evening all, I am new here and just looking for abit of advice, I’m planning on moving to a different borough, I’m just wondering what happens when I move, I currently claim Universal Credit and Personal independence Payment, Would I need to make a new Claim for both or would they get sent over to the new DWP Department, Thank you.

You would need to update your address on UC account, and call PIP to give them your new address.
If claiming Housing Element of UC, they will need your new rent details no earlier than the date you move in1 -
Ohh so I wouldn’t need to re apply for UC and Pip they would get transferred over?, I’m currently living up North but plan on moving to Thornton Cleveleys all my family are moving to there too, thank you for you’re replyKimmy87 said:You would need to update your address on UC account, and call PIP to give them your new address.

You don’t need to reapply for UC because you’re already claiming it. It’s just a change of address as advised.
PIP is the same and a simple change of address. Not sure what you mean by “transferred over “ you’re moving to England and nothing will change with your PIP.0
