Hi everyone
I’m probably going to have to end up having assessments for both and was wondering -
if they are carried out by the same company?
Also, as I’ll probably be having 2 assessments could I request telephone assessments for both ?

Can I record them ?
And lastly, I know I’m only allowed to cancel once but as it’s 2 separate benefits am I allowed a cancellation for both and when you cancel are you given another appointment straightaway ?
Sorry for all the questions .

They aren't done by the same company. Health Assessment Advisory Service do work capability assessments.Independent Assessment services or Capita do PIP assessments, depending on what area you live. Yes, you can ask for a telephone assessment. Yes, you can ask them to record it.You can cancel an appointment once for each benefit. If you do this, you may not be given an appointment straight away.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
