I saw this on another site and there were some very fun answers.
What is considered normal at 3pm, but terrifying at 3am?
For example: The sounds of the ice cream truck

My fear comes from someone tapping at my bedroom window at night when i was a teenager, terrified me for life. When i go to bed i have to check that there's no gaps in the curtains too. I put my washing basket on the one side of the curtain (nearest my bed) so it pushes it against the wall.

Oh lordy, I had something similar to this. Well, it wasn't a human, it was a fox (with a very bloody face) slamming into the glass door at full pelt. I was knelt down next to the door.Albus (he/him)

Things that fall over for no reason.
I'm often awake in the night. Other night an empty apple squash bottle I had standing on the stairs fell down them for no reason....
3pm oh, just go pick it up
3am hide under the bed covers with that cold, icy feeling of...
