I have had a quote for a chair from a local supplier. £4k for a chair for someone of my weight 135kg plus. The market is full of suppliers and a wide range of prices. Dare I say it seems to represent rip off Britain. Can anyone suggest an honest supplier of good equipment please?

4k does seem a rip off price, @Prometheus2020. They are expensive to my mind, but boy, not that expensive. I can't suggest an honest supplier, the only advice I can give, is find a place or places that have a decent amount on display & go try them, maximum weight should be on the label. Take a book with you if necessary, as it is something you will spend a lot of time in & has to support you where needed.
