Hello to everyone.
After the New Year I am going to fill in an Attendance Allowance Form for a female relation who is unable to cope with such a demand of information. I will be simply
referring to her as "SHE" cannot do this or ????
On page "44" Help with Care Needs, also page "61" Extra Information, I am intending to type these out on A4 paper and stick them down neatly with Pritt-Stick. Page 61 is going to take at least another 3 pages of tying given her level of circumstances, so I
think doing this should be okay as so much typing will be needed anyway.
Of course I will ring the DWP up to get their view but I just wondered what others had to say on the forum about this as a whole.
Finally, it's wonderful to see so many helped. I can well remember a long, long time ago when I needed help and there was no internet, but the welfare rights were like
a lighthouse in the night for me at that time.

Hello @nas, welcome to the community
I don't have a lot of experience with this, but I'll pop your post over to our section for Attendance Allowance so it gets the attention of the right people.
Hopefully some of our members with the right experience will be along shortly to share their advice, I just wanted to say hello and welcome you.Rosie (she/her)

Please do not ring DWP to have their view because that’s never the best idea. When ringing any DWP department you are speaking to someone from a call centre who often have very little knowledge for any benefits.
There’s a guide here that may help. https://www.ageuk.org.uk/information-advice/money-legal/benefits-entitlements/attendance-allowance/what-to-include-in-your-attendance-allowance-application/I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Hi Rosie_Scope
Thank you for your welcome!

Hi Poppy123456
Yes, I would have been hesitant to speak to anyone at the DWP.
It's always good to throw up another angle to something and see what is said.
Thank you.
