UC On Saturday?

in Universal Credit (UC)
My UC is paid on the 29th of the month (due on Monday) but it's gone into my account today? My partner also gets hers on the 29th but she hasn't had a payment today?

Very strange,anyone else had this happen?

I might get another payment on Monday :D

    It often depends on the bank, do you both bank with the same bank ?

    No different banks which could explain why she hasn't had it today, it's still odd to receive it today (weekend especially) when it's not due till Monday!

    Some banks (not all) will allow access to funds on a Saturday if payment is due on a Monday. 

    My bank used to do that but they stop quite a few years ago. 
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

    I've just looked again and it does say Monday 29th @ 00.00 but it does show as available in my account.

    That means exactly what I said and your bank allows access for Monday's payments on a Saturday. The same should apply to any direct debits you have that may go out on a Monday, it will show as taken on the Saturday.
