The carers element increased to £189.31/month.

As you’re claiming UC no one will receive any increase this month. The increase will apply first to those with assessment periods that start on or after 8th April. So the first increase will be those that receive payment from 14th May onwards.

When you will receive your increase will depend what date you usually receive your money.

Some won’t receive it until start of June. Regardless, everyone will still be entitled to 12 payments of the new amounts.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
