Hi, my name is Marirose07!

I' m a widowed Mum of one teenager close to leaving school, who is high functioning autistic, severe sensory issues, learning difficulties, comes in about age five. Non verbal, and since June last year also epileptic suffering multiple types of seizures, and due to doctors not understanding what was happening, it took a year of suffering sixteen to twenty episodes a day, but we now know they were focal fits, he lost a lot of weight, but he is now on meds to control them. My Husband passed in 2022, he was my right hand man. Since he's been gone the house he paid for needs some work doing, like the boiler and oil tank replacing, the boiler he used to repair as he was technician, but you can't get the bits anymore, yes it is that old over twenty odd years. I have no savings and would like to know what help there is out there and where to apply to for it, I do not want to go through another winter of using an electric radiator and have only one radiator in the house working. Plus all my windows have blown, and dropped, and we have common sparrows living in the eaves of the roof. I do not want to sell my house or move, my son and I love where we live. Thing is we have no savings, and now need help, I can't do this on my own. I have a social worker because I am an only parent to a severly special need child, he is my whole world.

A few links:
Please let the sparrows complete the nesting season and investigate after they are finished what needs to be done to block off their access - it could be something minor that you can save up for in the meantime.
