I received a notification a few days ago in regards to my sons dla saying he had been awarded it . Fast forward to today I rang and obviously pressed the wrong digit the lady couldn’t say much just that a decision had been made I’d receive a letter or call back press option 5 , so I did , to be presented with the most rudest person ever who said NO ur son hasn’t got it if ur that bothered put a mandatory reconsideration in good bye , I didn’t even get chance to speak or say anything about it or tell her about the txt message saying he has been awarded, I’m so upset about the way I was spoken to and how it was all handled my son has severe autism adhd anxiety and everything else that comes with it , I really don’t know what to do and I don’t want to call back again to be treat or spoken to in that way . I didn’t even get chance to take a name as it was literally security questions ban ban ban goodbye phone down . Why are some people like this , it’s really not on there dealing with children with serious 🧐 health conditions why not have a little more compassion for the kids and us as parents .
