I would like to ask anyone who has a baby with hemiplegia how they manage their babies night time sleep. My grandson is awake most of the night. He has melatonin to and is 16 months old. Any suggestions would be most gratefully accepted. Thank you

Hi @MM12 and welcome to the community! I haven't any experience myself, however I've added to your title and applied some tags to your post which will hopefully help our members who have. I hope that's ok 😊

Hi @MM12 and a warm welcome to the community from me!

Sleep can be especially tricky for really young children and they're still adjusting so much at 16 months!

Does your grandson have a bedtime routine at the moment? What sort of strategies have you already tried? The reason I ask is just so I don’t suggest things you’ve already worked hard on or have tried in the past that haven't been quite the right fit!

There is Cerebra Sleep Service which may be helpful to refer to. They are a free specialist sleep service for disabled children and they will work with you and give you a tailored sleep plan purely based on your grandsons needs😊

We do also have a CP network here on the community and I will tag them now @SaraC_Scope @Lucy_Scope and @Richard_Scope who offer specialist support and information to people with CP and their families
