DLA REnewal forms
I was wondering if anyone could help me. My daughter’s DLA award runs out at the end of May. I phone at 20 weeks out for renewal forms and they told me they wouldn’t be sent until 12 weeks out. I phoned a week ago and they told me the forms are automatically sent out from the computer and to phone again in 2 weeks (which will be next week) if the forms haven’t arrived. My worry is that if I leave it until next week that leaves me with 10 weeks until award runs out. I have heard the forms need to be sent back and received by them 8 weeks before award ends. Am I ok to keep waiting on the forms or is there something I should be doing?
Thanks

If you haven't received the renewal forms by next week then you can explain that the automated form hasn't arrived and request an "duplicate" renewal pack. As long as the DWP receives your renewal form any time before your daughters current award ends then your payments are protected😊
