Hi, my name is Asaint! Issues with SENCO, EHCP and college
Hello my daughter has an ehcp, the college named on her ehcp refused her based on her predicted grades. I've been told that as the college is named they cannot refuse her. The school she is currently at the senco is horrible and keeps lying and has offered no support. Even thought she has an ehcp.

Hi @Asaint and a warm welcome to the community from me!
I'm sorry to hear this has happened, it it sounds like a very stressful situation for both you and your daughter.
As long as the college isn't an independent setting then they must allow your daughter into the college. Have you told the local authority what has happened as they are ones who have a duty to secure the specialist provision? If you have, but nothing seems to be moving forward then you may have to start a judicial review.
Here is some more information on schools refusing to admit children EHC plans that I hope will be helpful.Have you contacted SENDIASS before? These are education experts in your local authority who can give you free and impartial information and advice on everything to do with education and are especially good to contact if your daughter isn't getting the right support from college.
