Are you looking for services, support and solutions to help overcome barriers to living a healthy, active lifestyle?

Join us at the Ffit Conwy Adapted Wellbeing Inclusion Event on Thursday 27th August 2026, 10:30am to 1pm, held at the James Alexander Barr Tennis Centre, Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay, LL29 7SP.

This event is designed to improve the wellbeing of individuals who require adaptations to stay active and independent. Whilst based in Conwy, this free event is open to people from across North Wales.

Limited mobility can create challenges when participating in everyday activities, exercise and recreation. This event will showcase a range of services, equipment and opportunities that can help people become more active, improve their wellbeing and enhance their quality of life.

Delivered in partnership with our Posture and Mobility Services, there will be information, advice and equipment available from wheelchair services and the prosthetics team.

This event includes:

Posture and Mobility Service - wheelchairs and prosthetics.

REMAP – this charity providing custom-made equipment, free of charge for disabled people.

 Ffit Conwy Inclusion – assists local disabled people and their families identify the most appropriate outlets within the local area.

 Ffit Conwy Memberships & National Exercise Referral Scheme (NERS)

Conwy Connect – this charity aims to ensure people with learning disabilities have equality of choice and opportunity within their community.

Sailability – provides inclusive boating, water sports and outdoor activities across Wales.

STAND - support and upskill families with children, young people and adults with speech language communication needs, additional needs and disabilities.
