What Makes a Good Day Centre?
Larkspur Care has contacted the Cerebral Palsy Network. Larkspur have opened a specialised adult centre.
They have deliberately sought to reach people across a wide geographical area because they want to hear a broad range of experiences, perspectives and ideas.
Larkspur Care would like your input on the following questions. Please answer in the comments:
- What makes a day service genuinely accessible, welcoming and inclusive?
- What barriers have you encountered when accessing activities, services or community opportunities?
- What do you wish care providers understood better about living with cerebral palsy?
- What makes a meaningful day for you, and what would you want to see offered?
- What helps you feel safe, respected and genuinely in control of your support?
