Hi there everyone, I'm Nicola and I'm a carer/ personal assistant, but also recently a trainer at an organisation called the Disability Resource Centre and Centre for Independent Living. I would describe myself as a freethinker.

Anyway, I just wondered if anyone here might find a survey I'm having to do at the moment for a research project interesting. It's not one of those dreaded 'surveys', it's just a really informal and anonymous thing. The topic I chose is about 'complaints'... Most health and social care settings have to have a 'complaints procedure'. But how effective is that? I thought perhaps the issue encapsulates lots of dilemmas to do with communication in the health and social care sector.

Do please have a look. If you'd like me to share with you my research project, and the results from the survey when it is complete, then just drop me a line, and I'll be happy to do so. Also, if you can think of another issue that might be worthy of some independent research, then please let me know!

Anyway, here's the link - http://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/H63HD/ - and there's an intro about me at the beginning. Rest assured there are only 10 questions! If you can spare a moment or two, I'd be very very grateful!

Warm regards, Nicola x
