Hey welcome to our community, we have a lot of parents of autistic children on here so hope its useful. I have CP but my fiance has autism, he is so kind, loving & annoyingly smart! One main issue is him putting loads of emphasis into things and know so much impressive information you or I might not think twice about but then be oblivious to other, more day to day things. Listening helps confidence but i tend to stop him sometimes to remind him we need to get back to talking about practical things. As i say parents may help you more!
