What happens after you win an appeal?

Hi everyone, just joined as I was searching Google to find out what happens after you win an appeal regarding an ATOS assessment.

initially awarded just 8 points for the Care Component, Mandatory Reconsideration agreed with initial assessment but Tribunal awarded me 18 POINTS.

My question is, what happens now?
My Award has been backdated to August 2017.
Hope I didn’t go on TOO LONG? Thanks.

As long as the DWP don't ask the Tribunal for a statement of reasons (SOR), in which they have 28 days to do if they wish, you should receive new payment rates and arrears in about 3+ weeks.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. 
Never knew about SORS so maybe I shouldn’t plan on getting any backdated money until I get an official letter from DWP.
